Summary:

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, through Chief Judge Jacob A. Brown, has adopted an innovative Student Loan Discharge Program (SLD Program) designed to streamline adversary proceedings under 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(8) involving student loans held by the United States Education Department (USED).
